Welcome to the Renegades High School Rugby Club website.

The Renegades were founded in 2004 and were the 2004, 2005, and 2006 Tier II State Champions.  Our club is part of the Illinois Youth Rugby Association (IYRA), Chicago Area Rugby Football Union (CARFU) and USA Rugby (USARFU).

With our success in 2004, 2005 & 2006, the club was elevated into Tier 1 for the 2007 season. There the club compiled a 4-1-1 record and took second place in the IYRA Eastern Division. Though the team suffered a heartbreaking last minute 31-26 loss to Mount Carmel in the first round of the play-offs, it was a fun and successful season. The Renegades retained their reputation as one of the better clubs in the Chicago area.
